As PIP expands its global reach, it is important that we continue to meet our fundamental responsibilities to act ethically with our, suppliers, customers, competitors, fellow employees and the public in general. This has been achieved through implementation of Quality Assurance Policies to manage operations, employees and the broader community in mind.

We believe in supporting the community as a whole. We want to make a difference in our community and be a part of making it a better place to live. To achieve this we invest in selected community projects, sponsoring local charity, sports and community activities.

This extends beyond its manufacturing facilities to also include its products and services. Two of the key aspects of this commitment are the prevention of pollution and continuous improvement.

We strive to make a smaller environmental footprint

 

We aim to increase the efficiency of Packit Industrial Packaging’s operations and reduce its environmental footprint. Packit Industrial Packaging interacts with the environment both directly and indirectly in a number of ways. This includes the use of property, machinery, natural resources and other materials, as well as waste generation and transport to conduct our domestic and international operations. We aim to continually improve our direct impact on the environment by:

• Reducing our use of energy, water, paper and other materials through the use of cutting-edge machinery and other initiatives

• Including environmental considerations in our purchasing decisions

• Reducing and disposing of waste responsibly and recycling more materials more efficiently

• Reducing our transport and distribution impacts by using technology, where possible, to deliver information and services

• Actively encouraging our suppliers and business partners to manage their impact on the environment

• Actively encouraging our customers to use product solutions that are 100% recyclable

Packit Industrial Packaging works with its customers to design packaging that meets the needs of the product and the community. This involves building environmental factors into product design and choosing the right materials and structure to perform the critical packaging functions of product protection and safety; ease and efficiency of transportation and use; while providing tamper evidence and conveying important nutritional and consumer information. Packaging is also designed to facilitate reuse, recycling, energy recovery and safe disposal.
